At first I thought I was afraid of growing up, but then I had to really think about it.

I’m not afraid of driving.

I’m not afraid of getting out of high school.

I’m not afraid to go to college.

I’m not afraid to move out and live on my own.

I’m not afraid to be a nurse.

I’m not afraid of getting married.

I’m not afraid of having children.

I’m not afraid of having a family.

I’m not afraid of getting old.

I’m not afraid of death.

I thought about it again, and every time I think about how fast life is passing by, I think of you.

And how I pay extra attention to only the moments that I have with you.

And then I realize that I’m not afraid of growing up.
